The coordinator of the project and the English teacher from Elexalde school attended a course in the National College of Dublin " Maximising Digital Competence in Learning and Teaching". Today we had he presentation of the course and we started team building and breaking the ice. They introduced in rhe Irish culture ad it was going to be the topic to carry out all the activities
The course was very interesting and a way to contact teachers from another schools of Europe. We all shared our experience at the same time we learnt how to use digital tools in our classes.

During this course, we learnt to use the most of digital tools, skills and knowledge to improve our professional development. It helped us to become confident and critical users of digital resopurces. The course also helped us not only to access information abut also to communicate, collaboarate and put into parctise what we learnt in our classes and to let it know to the School Staff.

The monument of the famine . The monument was dedicated to those Irish people forced to emigrate during the 19th century Irish Famine. The bronze sculptures were designed and crafted by Dublin sculptor Rowan Gillespie and are located on Custom House Quay in Dublin's Docklands.

During the course we learnt that hardly was the most practise sport in Ireland. So during one of our walks in Dublin, we saw this mural of the typical sports then, such as hurling. We enjoyed of it and it was part of the Irish culture.

A visit to The Temple an icon of Dublin culture. We also worked in our course and it was part of one of our activities created with Q Saw. the afternoon in our free time we enjoyed of it.
The Dublin castle was also part of the Irish culture and we enjoyed visiting it and learning about its history behind the walls.
The culture of the pubs is part of the Irish culture . You know the saying: All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy . So when we had free time, we enjoyed visiting local pubs and sharing good moments outside the classroom.

Last day of the course, we were given our certificates after presenting our works to the rest of students. We really enjoyed our participation in this course and we took a lot of idesa with us to put into practise in our lessons and to share with the rest of the teachers at Elexalde school.
We created a unit with all the apps that we were taught in the course. We did the didactic unit about Lonson history. As we had planned a trip to London for the two following weeks , we London time travelled and we also ahhowed to our students before going there. It was a good opportunity for us to put into practise what we had learnt.
